Traditional Occasions

We enjoy celebrating traditional occasions at The Limes such as Royal Events, Valentines Day, Easter, Halloween, Christmas, New Year and more!

During the weeks leading up to the occasion residents help staff to decorate the home and they also take part in activities that have been organised in relation to the specific occasion.

As well as key occasions we also like to celebrate each and every Birthday at The Limes; for both residents and staff.

Below are some photos that have been taken throughout 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. We have celebrated Shrove Tuesday, Mother's Day, Easter, Bonfire Night and more!

This January 2021 we have recognised International Flower Day. Due to the current limitations on care homes regarding having flowers a display was created and the residents helped by colouring and designing their own flowers to add to the display. The residents also were given the opportunity to complete a flower based wordsearch and name the flowers.
