Help From Our Community
In this difficult time each and every person has come against their own struggles. As you can imagine, with the high demand on supermarket delivery and restrictions place regarding multiples items being bought, staff at The Limes were concerned. However, our concerns were short lived and members of staff at both Tesco in Mickleover and Iceland put provisions in place to ensure that the residents had everything they needed, and then some. We greatly appreciate the wonderful help and support that was given to us from both stores.
On the 22.04.20 Lisa from The Dementia Rapid Response South Team came to The Limes with donations of many items for staff and residents. Everyone was very grateful for this gesture. Thank-you for thinking of The Limes and it's staff and residents.
On the 23rd of April, the staff at The Limes were kindly gifted some homemade gowns and laundry bags by Sarah Pollard from Ashbourne. Sarah explained that she used old bed sheets and re-purposed them. We were very greatful of this donation and we are putting them to good use! Thank-you.
At The Limes we have been overwhelmed by the amount of messages, letters and calls from relatives of our residents. These came with well wishes to everyone and a thank-you to all of the staff. Some have asked that we all Stay Safe whilst others have offered to help in any way that they possibly can at this difficult time. This included offers to collect prescriptions and offers to provide transport to staff members to and from work.
We would like to give you all a heartfelt thank you all for your fantastic ongoing support.
